Before I hit the weights in the gym or the track for a run, I usually grab a Chocolate, Mocha Joe (combo chocolate and coffee flavor)  or Vanilla Muscle Milk Shake. It is important for me to have enough energy (and should be for you as well) to make the time I spend in the gym efficient and effective.  I can never get the work done I need on an empty stomach and want my body to have something to work with of high-quality protein to fuel my strength training workout.
